Geospatial AI That Turns Satellite Imagery into Decisions
After five years delivering satellite imagery and analytics as a white-label provider for international vendors, Horizon Satellite is now a Saudi-licensed Earth Observation company. Our GeoMine AI platform helps mining, agriculture and urban-development leaders explore, monitor and decide faster — remotely, securely and with local data processing options.
Vision & Mission
Our vision is to transform space technology into accessible national capability for Saudi Arabia and the wider Arab and African regions. Our mission is to merge AI, Earth Observation, IoT, and edge processing to deliver actionable, real-time intelligence for agriculture, energy, urban development, industry, and defense — in full alignment with national transformation goals.
Founder’s Story — A Life in Technology
Our founder’s journey began at 18:
witnessing the birth of the commercial internet, championing early dial-up access, introducing digital lines, distributing broadband and mobile devices, and building technology operations across multiple countries. That journey forged a simple belief: the next frontier is space, and the Arab world must not watch from the sidelines. Horizon is the instrument of that belief — headquartered in Riyadh, operating Cairo and Istanbul branches, and uniting experienced engineers with young local talent.
What We Build
GeoMine AI — Earth Observation Platform:
Multi-sensor ingestion (optical, radar, thermal), change detection, object classification, vegetation/palm health indices, emission mapping, and geospatial forecasting.
Edge & IoT Integration:
Satellite insights fused with ground sensors for real-time operations in farms, grids, and sites.
Data Sovereignty & Security:
All data from/to Saudi Arabia processed and stored locally under national governance standards.
5-Year Space Roadmap:
Imagery/analytics → ground station → local assembly → AI-enabled smallsat launch.
Why It Matters Now
Saudi Arabia accelerates digital infrastructure, smart services, environmental accountability, and resilient supply chains. Earth Observation with AI gives ministries and enterprises early-warning, optimization, and verification. It minimizes waste, elevates safety, and embeds sustainability into daily operations.

Proven in the Field
Hyperspectral satellite analysis of a ~772-feddan palm estate (NDVI, GNDVI, SAVI, water-stress and density mapping). It revealed that only ~20% of the land was actually planted — giving the owner a precise baseline for expansion and irrigation planning.
AI-based geospatial analysis supporting a cement-sector operator in raw-material exploration and quarry site management — fully remote, with no field visits, cutting exploration time and cost.
Delivered two satellite remote-sensing training programmes, building national talent in Earth Observation data, analytics and AI workflows.
